Trying To Book a Sporty Stag Weekend in Scotland
A good friend of mine gets married later this year, and we’re currently trying to organise the necessary stag weekend in Scotland.
It is a surprisingly difficult task, what with eight names on the list all with different budgets and all with a difference lists of ‘wants’ from the weekend.
As it stands, we’re thinking of basing ourselves in Edinburgh – which, as you would expect from a capital city, has a great range of bars, clubs and the like.
And for a couple of activities we’re thinking of heading north to Perthshire for a spot of quad-biking, mountain biking and maybe even white water rafting.

Januray Transfer Window Remains Open
Thus far, the January transfer has been very, very dull.
Nothing of note has happened, unless your interested in Arbroath selling three players (including their captain) to local rivals Forfar?
No, I thought not.
In the Premiership, things are cagey to say the least. Some of the lesser teams – the Hulls, Stokes and Wigans of the game – have been busy picking up low-priced signings but there is nothing really exciting about signing Gary Caldwell.
The big teams have been very quiet. Liverpool picked up Maxi (who has sat on the bench for his first few games) but surely a couple of big name signings must be on the way?
